Canadian voters are enumerated for each federal election, so everyone must fill in an enumera- tion card to be cligible to vote. Registration on a provincial or municipal voters’ list does not mean you are on a federal voters’ list. The enumeration process began Friday, Oct. 14. Locally, enumerators will visit each home in the two North Shore tidings. If residents are not home a slin will be left: by enumerators listing the time and date they plan to return. Once the initial enumeration has been completed a preliminary voters’ fist will be completed by Oct. 21 and be ready for inspection Oct, 24. Residents should have received their notice of cnumeration by Oct. 31. The notice means your name is on the federal voters' list.
