ENUMERATORS FOR the Nov.
21 federal clectisn will be regis-
tering yoters across Canada and in
the North Shore's Capilano-Howe
Sound and North Vancouver fed-
eral ridings until Thursday, Oct.

Canadian voters are enumerated
for each federal election, so
everyone must fill in an enumera-
tion card to be cligible to vote.
Registration on a provincial or
municipal voters’ list does not
mean you are on a federal voters’
list.

The enumeration process began
Friday, Oct. 14.

Locally, enumerators will visit
each home in the two North Shore
tidings. If residents are not home a
slin will be left: by enumerators
listing the time and date they plan
to return.

Once the initial enumeration has
been completed a preliminary
voters’ fist will be completed by
Oct. 21 and be ready for inspection
Oct, 24.

Residents should have received
their notice of cnumeration by
Oct. 31. The notice means your
name is on the federal voters' list.

Residents in urban areas not on
the federal voters’ list by Nov, 4
will be ineligible to vote in the
Nov. 21 election. Residents in rural
areas must be on the list by Nov, 2
to be eligible to vote.

Capilano-Howe Sound includes
all the North Shore west of Mos-
quito Creek; West Vancouver
District; the Village of Lions Bay;
Bowen Istand; and the
Squamish-Lillooe: Regional
District, which includes Whistler,
Pemberton and D'Arcy, but not
electoral areas A and B which are
within the Cariboo-Chilcotin
riding.

riding's returning office is located
