Shaw in North Vancouver provincial court Dec. 30: Mark Salzborn, 32, was handed a suspended sentence and one year probation and ordered to pay compensation to B.C. Tel of $110 after the North Vancouver man pleaded guilty to mischief valued at less than $1,000. Before Judge J.D. Layton in North Vancouver provincial court Dec. 23; , Michael John Pearson received a conditional discharge and was placed on probation for three months after the 22-year-old West Vancouver man was found guilty of assaulting another male. Lonnie Powell was fined $50 after the Vancouver man pleaded guilty to failing to appear for a scheduled court date. Before Judge J.B. Paradis in North Vancouver provincial court Dec. 22: Edward Bruce Marland was fin- ed $400 after the 26-year-old North Vancouver man was found guilty on a charge of assaulting another male, Before Judge J.K. Skaw in West Vancouver provincial court Dec. 22: : Steven Douglas Payne, 27, of North Vancouver, was handed a’ conditional discharge and one-ycar probation after he pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. Before Judge R.D. Grandison in West Yancouver provincial court Dec. 21: Robert George Clarke, 25, of Bowen Island, was fined $50 after he was found guilty of supplying liquor t® a minor on Bowen Island. David Thomas Mitchell, 30, was fined $550 and prohibited from driving for six months after the West Vancouver man pleaded guil- ty to failing to stop at the scene of an accident. Before Judge R.D. Grandison in West Vancouver provincial court Dec. 17: Ralph Alfred Sale, 19, of North Vancouver, was given a condi- tional discharge and a six-month probation term and ordered to perform 75 hours of community work after he pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. Brian Edward Stead was fined a total of $600 after the 27-year-old Burnaby man pleaded guilty to driving without insurance and driving without a licence. Russell Lewis Cerniuk, 37, was fined $25 after the Surrey man pleaded guilty to creating excessive noise while operating an ecx- cavating machine. Before Judge R.D. Grandisen In West Vancouver provincial court Dec. 16: William Theodor Sager, 20, was handed a suspended sentence and a one-year probation and ordered to perform 75 hours of community work after the West Vancouver man pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. Rory Louis Szendrei, 21, of Vancouver, was fined $100 after he pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. Before Judge R.D. Grandison in West Vancouver provincial court Nov. 30: Sherman Hood was fined $60 after the 18-year-old West Van- couver man was found guilty of consuming liquor in a public place near Clyde Avenue and 13th Street in West Vancouver. Ka Tong was fined $50 after the 25-year-old Vancouver man plead- ed guilty to failing to appear for a court date scheduled to hear a charge of impaired driving laid against him.
