seen a one-legged bird but the
average shopper can count to
two unless the bird is frozen
solid.

counting the legs of course.

Don’t miss the loin pork
chops or spare ribs, both at

The chops, a meatier buy,
can be BBQ’d but | find they
tend to dry out too much.
Better to dip them in egg and
cracker crumbs and pan-fry.
Steam the ribs before grilling
them over the coals.

Miracle Whip at $2.59, 1
litre, is a good buy too. My
friend, Shirley, makes a fan-
