Two major projects
to upgrade fire fighting
facilities in
Vancouver have been
sent back to
drawing board after the
lowest tenders received

North Vancouver District
council Monday voted to
reject tenders on both the
proposed training centre
complex and an addition to
the main fire hall.

Council had budgeted
$875,000 for the
centre but Fire Chief Bob
McDonald indicated in a
