Former resident celebrates birthday A RESIDENT of Lynn Valley for 63 years recently celebrated her 100th birthday at the Austrian Chalet in Campbell River. Mrs. Nellie Phoebe Morrison moved to Lynn Valley in 1924 from Edmonton, where she had moved with. her husband, Val Morrison, three years earlier from England. ; ‘She: later ‘moved from Institute Road to Willingdon Road, then to Kilmer Road and finally to a home at 4069 Mt. Highway, complete with an acre of fruit trees. Beautiful gardens were a mainstay of each residence. Mrs. Marrison now resides at Yucalta Lodge in Campbell River.
