Mi REMOVAL FROM DUROID ROOF :

To remove moss from a sloped duroid shingle
roof, first dampen your roof with a hose. Please be very
careful as it is slippery up there! With a ‘weed type”
sprayer, spray LIQUID MOSS KILLER onto the moss
matting. LIQUID MOSS KILLER can be purchased at
your local garden centre.

After about 3 weeks, when the moss has dried
and turned brown, remove the moss by brushing the

_roof with a firm bristle brush or broom.

To discourage the re-growth of moss on your
roof, apply a ZINC STRIP to the ridgecap on the

northern exposure of your roof. Expose about 24%
inches of a 3 inch zinc strip and tuck the other 1/2 inch
underneath the ridgecap. ZINC STRIP can be
purciased from your local building supply stores or

roofing specialists.
