MERCEDES-BENZ S-class automobiles are the flagships of the German automaker and have a
tradition of setting new directions in automotive excellence. The 1992 models were introduced
last fall - the company estimates it invested $2 billion (CDN) in bringing the new cars to market.

Continuing education courses offered

NORTH SHORE Continuing
Education is offering a variety of
one-day classes on Saturday, Feb.
15 for adults who are unable to
attend weekday programs.

Classes being held at Carson
Graham Secondary School, 2145
Jones Ave. in North Vancouver,
include: ‘‘Designing Your Of-
fice,’’.with tips on how to create a
perfect work space; ‘‘Assertiveness
Training in the Workplace,” with
suggestions on how to ask for a
raise and how to refuse unreason-
able requests and ‘‘Mind Mapp-
ing,’ which focuses on a new

technique for improving memory.

Other classes available include
information on reducing fat and
cholesterol, hair cutting and styl-
ing and sewing tips for making
tights.

Also offered on Saturday will
be a set of classes that will focus
on information for small business
owners.

These courses will be held at the
Lucas Centre, 2132 Hamiton Ave.
in North Vancouver and will pro-
vide participants with information
on subjects that include book-
keeping and financial statements,
