Sound MLA and Speaker of the
House John Reynolds announced
recently that a Green Gold Grant
of $3,000 has been awarded to the
First Pemberton Scouting Group
of the Boy Scouts of Canada.

The group will develop the
Shadow Lake Interpretive Trail,

on Highway 99, 17 kilometres
north of Whistler.

The hiking trail will circle
Shadow Lake.

It will provide the public an op-
portunity to see a 50-year-old
timber stand that was naturally
