Most of these diseases. are only a bad memory in the developed countries of the world, but in Third World nations they are very much alive. Mobile immunization teams, trained and equipped by UNICEF, travel throughout the countryside in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Their goal is to protect all children who could otherwise die for the want of a few cents’ worth of vaccine.
