North Vancouver resident
Doris Orr will have to stand
trial after all on two charges
of breaking North Van-
couver City’s dog bylaws.

B.C. Supreme Court
Justice A.B. Macfarlane last
week upheld a Crown appeal
of the quashing of two
charges against Orr, and
confirmed the City’s nght to
license dogs and kennels.

23 on all three charges;
keeping more than three
dogs without a_ kennel
licence, owning an
unhcenced dog, and keeping
more than six cats.

The charges all arose from
‘the great dog bust’ incident
of August 14, 1979, when
Orr's residence at 248 West
