RUGBY Closest to home are the B.C. boys’ triple-A and double-A rugby finals at UBC as Carson Graham — third place finishers in four of the past five years — is ranked third in the 16- team triple-A tournament. The Eagles com- piled a perfect 7-0’ record during the regular season and tied Lord Byng !4-14 in overtime in the Lower Mainland zone final. Carson meets Cowichan at 12:30 today. A win pits them against St. Michgel’s or Vanier tomor- row al 2 p.m. Collingwood and Windsor, both 4-2 in icague play, qualified for the double-A rugby tourney for the first time. The Cavaliers, 14-8 winners over the Dukes in the zone final, are ranked eighth and meet Lambrick Park at- 6:30 p.m. tonight. Windsor is ranked 13th in the 16-team draw and faces Ladysmith at 2 p.m. today. The championships conclude Saturday.
