Trek for Deep Cove cuiture

BE PART of a community trek and help rise tunds
for the Deep Cove Cultural Centre.

This centre will be the only performing arts theatre,
art gallery and heritage display area caat of the
Sevirour River.

The Great Cultural Trek is being organized by the
Deep Cove Cultural Society to take place on Sunday.
Mareh Hi.

Two circular heritage routes of six kilometres and
two kilometres have been mapped out by members of
the Deep Cove and Area Heritage Association and
volunteers will staff eight different heritage sites and

pledges for the distance walked. Pledye sheets are
available at all local schools in the east Sesmour area,
reeCentre Ron Andrews and Sescosve Community

Centre and can also be obtained at the registration
table on event day.

The Great Cultural Trek begins at the totem pole in
Cates Park. Participants may start at any time be-
tween 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Refreshments will be avail-
able at the cultural centre site in Deep Cove.
