aT : an MR. AZIZ KHAKI wants to deliver my head on a platter to the King Herods of Multicult. A professional ‘‘visible mi- nority’’ and a late native of Uganda, he lucked in to become the head of the mis-named B.C. Committee For Racial Justice, and has told advertisers to boycott the North Shore News. : In printing my stuff, he states in his many letters to them, the News is ‘irresponsible and not worthy of community support.’’ My feeble writings are ‘‘outrageous,”’ and I am guilty of ‘‘spiteful and abusive attacks on racial, ethnic, religious and other minorities.’* It is therefore time that such scribblings were cancelled. ters from the B.C. Human Rights Coalition (a real laugh, that!), the Affiliation of Multicultural Societies of B.C., the Canadian Jewish Congress and the Multicultural Women’s Associa- tion of West Vancouver, the latter representative of which is a female called Shaku Rashid. They had a lot to say about ‘‘the a am guilty of‘spiteful and abusive attacks on racial, ethnic, religious and other minorities. a Aziz and his associates are all in favor of free speech, of course. They just don't want me around, and to show he has muscle he pro- duces a list of alleged supporters that is longer than my arm. It in- cludes the Canadian Mustim Association, the Khalsa Diwan Society, the Roman Catholic Ar- chdiocese, the United Church of Canada, and Uncle Tom Cobley and All. He puts his modest proposal re the wretched accused neatly: “Insofar xs Mr. Collins stays within the laws of the country" (which apparently he does, alas) “the has the right to his hateful opinions and the right to express them ... By withdrawing your advertising ... you are not denying the newspaper the right to publish Collins ... You are asserting your right to withdraw your support of those views.”’ What could be more reasonable? The great Khaki’s instructions were accompanied by backup let- a99 Canadian mosaic,’’ a phrase that is so hackneyed it makes me want to throw up. There was also talk of “ending the promotion of hatred in B.C.” All this attenticn is flattering. Who would have thought I was so important? I must be a thorn in their side, a cramp in their toe and a buzz in their heads. They talk about hate, but are themselves haters. They hate me. They also hate any voice that disagrees with the multicult menace. They want things all their own way and apart from this small column in g small newspxper they are getting it. They show what would happen if they were in control, which they soon will be. They are kept going by government grants and it may not please you to know that Khaki’s miserable little mob got $40,000 from Ottawa last year, plus perks. Yes, you paid for those letterz. Gerry Weiner, the obsequious Minister for Multicult, thinks nothing is too good for these Canada-changers. Votes, you know. So a couple of months ago he named Khaki leader of a work- ing group that will suggest ap- pointments to the new Canadian Multiculturalism Advisory Com- mittee. We have been this Kill Collins route before. A. similar attack was mounted four years ago. But there are two reasons why these freedom-lovers have raised their confused craniums again now. My attempt to run for the Reform Party was unsuccessful (and you can be sure the organized ethnics had a hand in that), but the support from the public was tremendous. So who knows but that I might try again? Better that I should be out of sight and out of mind. Then there was the Vancouver Sun series on immigration, which showed that the North Shore is more aware of what is going on in that crea than anywhere else is. Could { have something to do with that? Who will rid Khaki of this troublesome priest? For my part, he and his cronies can go and get stuffed. They are so dumb, too, they even refer to the News as ‘‘a monopolistic situa- tion.” As for the advertisers, bless their hearts, they should know that bowing to bullies never pays. Bow to their demands and pretty soon this state-subsidized, would-be controller would be telling them to wear brown shorts. Or to get rid of their cats. If you wish to communicate to Khaki your views on this attempt to introduce multicult-style democracy to B.C., you can phone him. His office numbers are 738- 7711 and 731-6633.
