Wilson wins wrestling FORMER Windsor secondary school student Chris Wilson won a gold medal Aug. 14 in the World Espoir Wrestling Championships. The 19-year-old) defeated Korea’s Woy Choi 7-1 in the 68- kilogram freestyle class of the competition held at BCIT. Wilson, who currently trains at Simon Fraser University, is only the second Canadian to win a gold medal at ihe Espoir champion- ships. Espoir wrestling denotes an age group of between 18 and 20. Wilson was the only member of the 1987 Canadian team who also participated in the 1985 competi- tion.
