Born in New Westmisnter, Miss Menzies lived most of her life in North Van. From her early teens onward she looked after her father, Archie Menzies, who became chief engineer of Burrard Shipyard and lived to the age of 97. Miss Menzies was, for a Number of years, a prominent Guider and a popular Cub and = Scout leader of St. John’s Church, North Van. As a member of that church she served in many different' capacities — in particular, as a regular and cheerful visitor to hospital patients and shut-ins. Marjone was a citizen of outstanding Staturre.” Miss Menzies is survived by members of her father’s family in New Zealand. The funeral service was held Friday in St. John’s Church, to the work of winch she had contributed so much.
