listing. I’m usually suspicious of
“dry"' riestings; they seem to lose
a lot of their personality with the
residual sugar, but this one retains
a distinctive riesling nose backed
up with peach and apple notes on
the palate.

“Off-dry without being cloy-
ing, this is a perfect ‘‘verandah
wine” to sip in the garden while
admiring the last roses of summer.
