Gene Slobod at 983-7414. On June 14, a series of good quality counterfeit [CBC cheques were cashed at seven banks in North Vancouver. The fake cheques added up to $16,600. NEAR THE end of July, per- sonal cheques that were part of items stolen in a Goquitiam burglary were allegedly cashed at a number of banks in North Vancouver.
