If’S THAT time of year again. Chistmas is rapidly approaching and North Shore vesidents will soon be digging
out the holiday lights and decorations in preparation for the festive season.

Some homes and businesses limit their holiday decorations to a few sprigs of holly and some paper
snowflakes,

But others go all out, spending days to get the lights and decorations just right.

At the shopping centres, Santa’s helpers labor through the night to prepare for the Christmas shoppers.
Suddenly, all the holiday trappings appear — brightly colored bells, sleighs, pretty presents and make-believe
snow.

The North Shore News wants to know about any especially unusual or beautiful Christmas decoration,
whether it is a business display window or a brightly decorated house, yard or boat. We would like to
photograph as many as possible for our Christmas News.
