Towing no easy task

TIMES ARE changing and
so are cars! Automobiles roll-
ing off the assembly line to-
day are quite different from
those o the past.
Yesteryear’s cars were made
of heavy steel which was,
when repairs were required,
forgiving. Today’s vehicles
are made of space-age
materials, are unitbody and
have nowhere near the flex-
ibility of older models. They
are lighter, smaller and much
more complex.

were among the over 75 par-
ticipants from across British
Columbia who attended the
two-day seminar.

specialty towing and recovery
techniques.

Toms says that meeting
together in this format
enables towing experts to ex-
change valuable ideas and ac-
quire new skills relating to
their industry.

led sessions on mgedern

paint and repair of plastic
bumpers, how a Jig is used in
restoring unitbody vehicles to
