The following provides a synopsis of the Park Dedication Bylaw
questions included on the ballot and is not an interpreiation of the bylaws.

. Council, through the referendum questions, is seeking the assent of the

-. electors to adopt any or all of 14 park dedication bylaws which would -

-dedicate. for park and recreation purposes 14 distinct parcels of
’. . District-owned land.’‘The Park Dedication Bylaws, named below, have been

“+s, As each of the 14 parcels of land is already owned by the District, the

referendum ‘questions do not seek approval from voters to borrow funds to ~

‘purchase these lands. : Any capital or operating costs associated with the
eventual development of these lands for park purposes, if the dedication

“bylaws are adopted, will be dealt with in the future through the District's -

*, established budgetary processes.
