One way is to cut those beautiful hydrangea flowers and dry them to display in the fall. At this time of year hydrangea bushes are full of gorgeous blooms. As it dries, the blue hydrangea will maintain its blue tones while the pink ones will turn a beautiful bur- gundy shade. Strip the leaves off of the stem to dry the hydrangea and attach a piece of Wire or twist tie to the cut end. You can then hang the hydrangea upside down on hooks or string in a dry and shady location. Some pexple have better luck placing the fresh blooms in a vase filled with water and letting the water run dry, The blooms will dry out ia the vase. Either way, the hydrangea bloom should dry out com- pletely in one to nwo weeks. Remember that direct sun will fade the flowers and moist air will damage the petals.
