Shore. Taking up the
Dick Irwin dealership
on Mariaze Drive,
owner. James Carter is
thrilled to be here. “I’ve
been living here for
years now and I have
wanted to develop a
dealership on the North
Shore.” he says.

For more than 80 years
the Carter family has
been involved in the
automotive business in
Canada. And, for nearly
40 years the Carter fam-
ily has: grown to be one
of British Columbia’s
largest car dealers.
“When we first opened
in Burnaby, we were
selling cars out of tents
for a while,” says Carter.
“Back then. we had a
straightforward philoso-
phy; sell one car at a
time. We still feel
that way.”
