For preschoolers, the Rainbow Riders, Star Striders, Preschool Playmates and Inside Out pro- grams will be offered throughout the summer until September. These programs encourage social integration and sharing, and give preschoolers a chance to develop their individuality. Other preschool programs are Waterplay for. Preschoolers, In French Only, art programs called French Dabblers and Tiny Tot Paste and Paper. For school-age youngsters, camps are in this year. Registration for most camps is on a weekly basis, but Summer Del Ux offers registration on a daily basis. Single programs include Claymates —a pottery program with a swim in- cluded. Teeny Jazz will once again be offered — participants will learn basic jazz steps to favorite and familiar songs. Children who love to cook will be entertained with Kids Cook Outs, where they participate in a barbecue lunch and enjoy fun and games after. Delbrook’s camping trips are also popular. Children pitch a tent for the night and sleep «ander the stars at Delbrook Recreation Cen- tre. Movies, snacks, games and breakfast are included. Camping trips start at 6 p.m. Friday night and end 9 a.m. Saturday morning. In the event of rain, sleeping ar- rangements will be moved indoors. THE ABBOTSFORD.
