HUNDREDS turned out for the 15 km Khahtsahlano Road
Race through West Vancouver last weekend and, despite the
overcast weather, most appeared to be having a good time.
The turnout was large enough to create a human traffic jam
across the starting line when the race began. Runners
streamed across the start at Gleneagles (right photo) on their
way to the Park Royal finish. Below, (left (o right) Rick
Kerr, Norma Rumberg and Shig Nikaido hug and laugh after
finishing the gruelling course through hilly terrain and in-
clement weather.
