Don 't blame the B Board of Health

The recent attacks on the North
Shore Union. Board of Health, as

_feported in the News are nothing.

but a smokescreen to cover up for
the. cuts:‘in health care funding by
the provincial government in the
name of restraint. ;

Anybody who :has followed ‘this
_ciosely knows that the administra-

tion and medical staff of the North

- Shore health facilities - are run rag-
ged, including .the North Shore
Union Board of Health, with many

_ facing nervous breakdowns.

Cuts -in: funding for education
have forced school districts to con-
sider puiling out.of the N.S. Union

Board of. Health and foregoing the |

services provided by that Board.
Instead of, acknowledging the

problems caused. by iack of fun-

ding, , the:; Socred apologists in

/

North ; Vancouver,in an attempt to

play up to their masters in Victoria
and show that they are obedient
servants, are now blaming the ad-
tninistration ; and. staff of the N.S.
Union; Board 'of ‘Health for these
shortcomings. \

I don't think, however, that the
public will be fooled. by. these
two-bit politicians. The blame for
any shortcomings or so-called in-
