Entertainment, Trilogy role VANCOUVER has seen few, if any, ‘alternates’ in its theatre history. The part of Arnold in Vancouver East Cultural Centre's Torch Song Trilogy demands such a role. It is an unusual occurrence and ut- ‘terly necessary in this pro- duction. ° , Arnold is an exceedingly demanding role. He is on stage for almost all of the three and a-half hours runn- ing time, with the action and interrelationships constantly revolving around him.
