They were soundly beaten by the Spartans 25-2. On the last play of the half Chalmers scored on a two yard sneak making the score at halftime 19-0. On the first play of the third quarter Spartans in- creased their lead when Jeff Chalmers ran off tackle and went 60 yds. The Lions managed a few drives in the third and fourth quarters but only managed a safety. In the other minor game Browns defeated the West Van Cowboys 20-6.
