Boy on bike
run down

West Vancouver Police
are searching for a hit and
run driver after an incident
Friday in which a 13-year-
old boy was knocked off his
bicycle.

A police spokesman said
that at about 4 p.m. the local
youth was riding his bicycle
near the intersection of
Ballantree- Place and
Ballantree Road when a car
swerved towards him and
knocked him off the bike.

The boy was taken to
Lions Gate Hospital with
injuries to his left side and
knec, but was later released.

Police are looking for the
driver of a bright yellow
Mustang with wide tires,
jacked up at the back with a
spoiler on the rear.
