A good place to start your tour this Christmas scason is at the Capilano Suspension Bridge. From Dec. 1} to Dec. 25 the suspension bridge is offer- ing free admission to the park with a donation to the food bank. Arrive around 4 p.m. as the lights begin to twinkle, bur remember that the park closes at 5 p.m. From there you may want to show your guests the view from the Peak of Vancouver at Grouse Mountain. The chalet is decked out for the sea- son and if you haven't been up to see Grouse in a few years, you and your guests will be pleasantly surprised to sec it now at its best. Or you might preter to. head our to The Beach House Restaurant at Dundarave Pier for an carly dinner and to take in the 70 deco- rated trees surrounding the restaurant. Each tree has been sponsored by a different group or organization with all of the donations going to the Lions Gate Hospital children’s wing. The Christmas display of lights at Park and Tilford Gardens at Main and Brooksbank are an annual tradition on the North Shore. There is no admission fee to wander through the festive showing. You can stop tor a warm drink and carry it with you as you enjoy the music and charm of these gardens at Christmas.
