ing of what is being proposed is as
follows, in order of consideration.

First, follow through on. your
promise (your July 6 letter to

District 44. trustees) and provide,

variety of reasons. Accordingly,

with the assistance you promised.

If you choose not to take the

to accept the findings of the report

was commissioned to bring fund-
ing fairness to the system and that
it recommended additional monies
be provided to District 44 upproxi-
mately equal to the current operat-
ing deficit.

I understand your reluctance to
accept all aspects .of the report
since monies would be taken from

other districts, which comprise sig-

nificant voter populations,
However, a compromise would

be simply to accept the report to

the extent of forgiving District 44

-the current operating deficit, with

the understanding that there would
be no further deficits.
