Art classes for kids under way

-THE “ARTISTS for Kids”
Trust is offering a number of
after-school art courses for. all

“ages this winter in cooperation
with the. North Vancouver
School District.

The classes, taught by specialist
art teachers, provide students with
the’ opportunities to ‘develop their
talents and skills with programs that
are:not available in the norma

- classroom setting. ’

The courses include: Art for
Small Hands and Primary Painting
for children ages seven to nine.

Cartooning, Painting People and
Places, Clay Creations and Prints
Plus are available for children ages
10 through 14. °

The classes run for eight weeks
and began January 24,

While the “Artists for Kids”
Trust is subsidizing the program, a
nominal fee is being charged for all
classes. :

students of famities in financial
