MALL MANAGER RECEIVES AWARD
Lynn Valley days
coming up soon

The Lynn Valley Lions
Club is well known for its
Many contributions to the
community of Lynn Valley
but last Friday it was the

club’s turn to officially
recognize one of its
benefactors.

Since 1973, Westlynn Mall
has made available a portion
of its parking lot for the
Lyon Valley Lions’ annual
Christmas Tree Sale. Friday,
that —contribution was of-
ficially recognized.

Terry Nichols and Watson
, Chairman and co-
chairman of the 1982
Christmas Tree Sale com-
mittee presented Westlynn
Mall Manager Bruce
MacLeod with a plaque of
appreciation and hearty
thanks on behalf of the Club.

Lynn Valley Lions an-
nually undertake numerous
fund-raising projects and.
channel the money raised
directly into community
projects.

Recent projects inchuide
donations to Lynn Vallicy
Kooindz House, the pur-
chase of an Easter Seal Bus,
and continuing support of
the Timmy's Easter Seal
Campaign.

One of its most popular
projects, involving the whole
community, is the Lion's
sponsorship of Lynn Valicy
Days, held annually at the
end of May.

As you can well imagine,
the Lions Club members arc
now busy planning Lynn
Valicy Days and its opening
parade, scheduled for May
28. There will be fun and
games for all. Don’t miss it.
