NIGHT SCHOOL NOTES

It’s time for the holidays

Time once again for Night
School Notes to wind down,
using the summer to get
geared up for new things,
refitted and refurbished and
loaded with new cargo for
the fall. Its comings and
goings do mark the seasons,
don't they?

It's to be hoped you all
enjoyed your classes as
much as 1 and the other
teachers enjoyed giving
them. During the summer
give an occasional thought
to what kind of courses you
could go for in September,

and if you get an idea of a
subject you think would be
good, and haven't yet seen,
give the office a call and talk
about it. If you think you can
teach it, tell them.

How to Eat An Elephant is
a four-session program,
centred around creative job
searching, and comes not a
moment too soon for all of
you faced with that problem
along with too many other
job-seekers. The program
begins May 31, and goes on
to June 2, June 7 and 9.
That's Mondays’ and

Wednesdays for two weeks,
in case your mind is in low
gear as you read this. Fee is
$25 and it will be at Carson
Graham.

Academic classes’ will
begin September 13, with
General Interest ones
Starting September 20. The
new brochure will be out at
the end of August.

So what else can I say to
you now? Nothing, except to
say it’s been good talking to
you over the months, and
good to know it will start up
all over again near the end of

Don't just look, try it

Prints are becoming in-
creasingly popular as a form
of art investment, but for
people whose interest hes
more in the active than the
passive, there is a course on
making prints being offered
this May at Capilano
College.
