ALL HEART... For the third year in a row, North Shore
Community Services (NSCS) has sponsored the “Name
Someone Whose Heart is in the Right Place” awards
which recognize longtime and outstanding volunteers
like Lucy Davies, who works with injured wildlife.

MUGGING IT UP... Muriel Whitlock is surprised with a
gift. Each volunteer received a coffee mug emblazoned
with the symbol of a heart and the slogan “vounteers
have heart.” Last year NSCS reviewed 700 prospective
volunteers and assisted 140 agencies in search of heip.
