View carol ships from S.S. Beaver

THE. CHRISTMAS carol ships are coming and this
‘year Eagle Harbour Community Centre will join the
festive flotilla on board the S.S. Beaver.

The historic sternwheeler will cruise the waters off
West Vancouver's shores on Sunday, Dec. 13.

The adults-only cruise departs from the Barbary
Coast docks (east of the Bayshore Inn in Coal Har-

bour) at 7 p.m., returning at 10 p.m.

Santa himself will be there to lead the caro] singing,

while passengers enjoy refreshments of hot and cold
appetizers.

To cap off the evening there will be a display of
firewoiks at Ambleside, a wrap-up of West Van-
couver’s 75th anniversary celebrations, as the parade
of carol ships passes.

Advance ticket sales only at Eagle Harbour Com-
munity: Centre, 921-7425, and at West Vancouver
Recreation Centre, 926-3266.
