THE WIZARD works his magic for Jennifer Herman and four-
year-old Ryan Smiley. The Wizard, Kamloops actor Bill Haug, ap-
peared in various North Shore locations this weekend to promote (he
North Vancouver Centennial Theatre’s fall season.

The North Vancouver R.C.M.P. Detachment requires an Iden-
tification Clerk to perform clerical, typing and photographic work.
The applicant must have a sound knowledge of all facets, pro-
cedures, practices and techniques used in development of black
and white film, taking of fingerprints and the ability to operate
photographic and development equipment.

Completion of Grade 12, plus the ability to type 50 wpm net, is
required, and related experience in general photographic techni-
ques is desired. Salary range $19,000 to $22,000.

week of Sept. 2! and runs for 10 weeks, meeting
once cach week.

An the North Vancouver YAICA, 440 Hendry Ave.,
the program is on Monday evenings, and at the West
Vancouver YMCA, 1735 Inglewood Ave., on Tuesday
