INWANTED VISITORS:

DON ISAAC'S scare gun is
nothing more than a high
tech scarecrow. Isaacs, pic-
tured left, is an employee of
the West Vancouver Parks
Department. Part of his job
is to use (he gun to shoo the
numerous geese from the
park at Asbleside. The
amount of goose droppings
has become a problem at the
park recently and prompted
West Vancouver Council to
approve use of the gun.
Below, Isaac displays the
yun and fires a shot over the
wandering birds. The bottom
picture shows definite
results. The gun was only
acquired by the parks
department Jast week and
appears to be giving suc-
cessful results.
