Wanda is survived by her sisters, Eva Henneys of Survey and Manda Treichel; her brother Willie Grunke of Germany; her chitdren Waldemar of Winnipeg, Rudolf of Ger- many, Bruno of Regina and Ingrid of North Vancouver. She also leaves her grandchildren Donna, David, Klaus, Sigftied, ‘Werner, Karen, Cheryl, Brian and James; as well as 12 great-grand- children. As a lifetime member of the Lutheran Church, she always served her tord, who was her strength. He was with her through two wars, going through battle zones to East Germany, from which she escaped with hes family to Canada in 1948. She was an example of “Women’s Liberation” before it really existed, as in the 1930's she was a successtul businesswoman while raising six children.
