Unlike tap water, Canadian Springs water is purified and run through filters and membranes with high-pressure pumps. The result is particle-, chemical- and bacteria-free water. The company also produces spr- ing water that comes from a natu- ral, free-flowing spring in the Fraser Valley. ‘*We have over 300,000 people drinking Canadian Springs water in British Columbia,” says Bailey. He drepped out of school when he wes 17 to open up two ski stores. The business eventually - failed after Bailey went bankrupt. Soon after he decided to embark on the bottled water business, and Falconer decided to leave law school to icin Bailey. Faiconer says his parents ini- tially questioned his decision to leave law school. “At first they thought | was crazy. But now they're really happy and they know [ made the right decision,’’ says Faiconer. Bailey says-he knew he wanted to be a business entrepreneur when he was eight years old. ‘“My parents were pretty frugal with us. I grew up in an area where a lot of kids got what they wanted but my parents never spoiled me,’’ says Bailey. ‘‘I think that was one of the things that moved me to wanting to become a success. : “I wasn’t very good in school. § was a rebel.
