This three bedroom stock
plan is designed to take good
advantage of a rear view, If
you. have a lot with a view of
a lake or river to the rear of
the property, this stock plan
may be suitable.

The exterior is
standard combination of
cedar shakes and_ siding,
with posts and brick facing
for accent. Siding can be
natural wood, aluminum, or
even vinyl.

The double door entry is
illustrated using wood
panclied- doors, but many
exciting styles are available

plumbing has been added to
the plans to allow for the

At the top of the stairs
there's a guest coat closet

landing. There’s an im-
mediate view of the wood-
burning fireplace in the
living toom from the lan-
ding. The living space is
open, and has large windows
facing the back of the house.

If you don’t have a view, it
can be very effective to
install a well-landscaped
back garden, which when lit
at night can be a spectacular
s.ght.

The kitchen and nook are
at one end of this living area,
with a door leading from the
nook to the sundeck. “U” in
shape the kitchen overlooks
the backyard, and its
compact design will make
meal preparation a pleasure.
The counter space next to
the fridge will casily ac-
commodate a microwave.

The design of the kitchen,
sundeck and sliding doors
from the dining area will
make barbeque living a
pleasurc. It's a lot casier to
keep control of a meal if it’s
not too many steps between

The three bedrooms are
all placed at the front of the
house. The master bedroom
has a walk-in closet, and a
two-piece ensuite. An
alternate layout is available
in thiS’ stock plan with the
closet and ensuite reversed--
that is, placed-on the side
wall, the same one as the
fireplace wall. The other two
bedrooms each with closets
and individual windows
share the three-piece bath.
