Scurfield, who used to play for the now defunct Nor-Wes Caps, scored three goals in carly February in a two game series against Ferris State. He is now im third place im the school’s career scoring charts and is the highest scoring cen- treman in WMU's history. The Highwaymen, un- defeated in the regular season, defeated the Handsworth Royals 44-36 in the North Shore final last week. Lisa Wild was the top scorer for Hillside, with 12 points, while Vivian McAdam had 10. Sheila Jones scored 14 points for Handsworth. Another senior team, the Carson Graham Eagles, has made its way to the Crehan Cup AA tournament in New Westminster, by defeating Vancouver's Matthew McNair 60-55. Hillside and Handsworth will also compete in the Crehan Cup from February 23 to 26.
