E. 4th Funding approved FUNDS TOTALLING $5.5 mil- lion have been approved by the Greater Vancouver Regional District Board of Directors for upgrading the Vancouver Heights water pumping station, located near the south end of the Second Narrows Bridge. The station, an essential part of the region’s water supply system, is required to help meet peak de- mands in Burnaby and Vancouver during the summer months. It was constructed in 1958.
