Quay stores are holding a
car wash next Saturday,
March 9, from 10 a.m. to 4
p.m. at the Chevron at
Mountain Highway and
Ross Road.

Funds raised ‘from the
event will be handcd over to
Outward Bound to support
Women of Courage, a non-
profit program that helps
survivors of violence with
their emotional recovery.

Since The Body Shop
Canada started its annual
Stop Violence Against
Women campaign in 1993, it
has raised more than
$250,000 for violence pre-
vention and recovery pro-
grams. |

Expect Respect is the
theme of this year’s cam-
paign, which _kicks off
today, March 3, and runs to
March 24.
