program for cancer patients, The
Canadian Cosmetic. Toiletry and
Fragrance Association Foundation has
teamed up with Lions Gate Hospital
to present a free two-hour workshop
on makeup application. wigs and
scarf tying. from 7 to 9 pam. in
Seminar Room A at the hospital. Pre-

Tuesday, Nov. 8: Fashions by Liz
Claiborne and Eatons will be high-
lighted in a fashion extravaganza for

the Children’s Wish Foundation of

Canada at Le Meridien Hotel in
Vancouver. Tickets, $35, include door
prizes and a chocolate dessert buffet.

ment about their commitment to breast cancer awareness. The
fashion retailer, with a store in Park Royal, has reproduced
onto a T-shirt 8.C. artist Barbara Klunder’s cover illustration
for Picasso’s Woman, a book on breast cancer by Lions Bay
resident Rosalind MacPhee. Proceeds from tne sale of the $20
T-shirt will benefit the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
