Suspect sought THE NORTH VANCOUVER RCMP are searching for a suspect involved in a Nov. 20 hit-and-run incident. According to the police, the suspect vehicle was observed travelling east on West First Street when it struck a pedestrian at approximately 9:30 p.m. The vic- tin suffered hip injuries and bruising. The suspect vehicle, described as 2 four-door, light blue or brown, 1980-’84 Caprice Classic bearing 3.C. licence pilates, left the scene, travelling north on Chester- field Avenue. The paint on the car’s trunk is faded. The suspect driver is described as being a Caucasian male, early to mid-40s, 5°10", 200 to 225 pounds with dark brown, shoulder-length hair tied in a pony tail. The man was wearing 2 T-shirt with ‘‘Mexico’’ written on it, a Mack jacket, windbreaker, dark blue jeans, knee-high rubber bosts end a Harley Davidson cap. Tonight the ships are scheduled to sail by Ambleside at 7:30 p.m. and Point Atkinson at 7:45 p.m. . The suspect is described as be- ing Caucasian, 5’8’’, 145 pounds, with shoulder-length hair and a blond moustache. The man was wearing grey jog- ging pants and a matching grey sweater with a hood. @ Meanwhile on the same day, just five minutes later, a lone male entered Dome Market at 500 Chesterfield Ave. The suspect demanded money and simulated a handgun by holding his hand in a coat pocket. The owner of the store pushed the suspect, who then fled west on Fifth Street. The suspect is described as be- ing Caucasian, approximately 25 years old, with short, curly brown hair, 5’6’’ to 5°8”? tall and weighing 170 pounds. The man was wearing a grey nylon jacket with two pockets in the front. @ At approximately 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 25 an armed robbery took place at the Panorama Super- market, 2211 Panorama Dr. A lone male armed with a long-bladed knife entered the store and demanded money. The suspect fled the scene with an un- disclosed quantity of cash. The suspect is described as be- ing Caucasian, 5°9” to 5°10” tall. He was wearing a mask bearing the face of an elderly man. The suspect also wore a red sweater, green army pants and black boots.
