MAN BEAT UP PAIR AT SEABUS SITE A 19-year-old North Vancouver man who said he was “looking for a fight,” pleaded guilty Wednesday to two charges of assault causing bodily harm, after he attacked two people in the North Vancouver ter- minal of the SeaBus. Jeff Glaeser, of 1189 Deep Cove Road, was charged November !7 and the case was set for tnal in North Vancouver Provincial Court. On Wednesday, Martin Cove, one of the people assaulted, testified that he and two friends were coming home on the SeaBus when Glaeser came and sat down After talking for a while, Cove said Glaeser told him that he (Cove) reminded Glaeser of his brother and he always beat his brother up. Cove testified that Glaeser then said he was looking for a fight and threatened the group throughout the tnp. When the group had left the SeaBus and was leaving the terminal, Cove said that Glaeser struck him in the face, causing two stitches. After hearing Cove's evidence, Glaeser changed his plea from not guilty to guilty. In further evidence, Crown trying to phone the police, Glaeser also hit one of Cove's friends in the face.
