Shiatsu is the best known style
of acupressure, with the points be-
ing held for three to five seconds.
Jin Shin acupressure, which works

to rebalance the life forces within
the body, holds points for a longer
period of time — often up to 10
minutes.

Barnholden charges $35 for a
one-hour session, and there are
half-hour and 1%-hour sessions
available as well. Clients are also
(aught how to practice self-
acupressure using eight to 10 body
points.

THERE’S STILL time to sign up
for plenty of summer activities at
RecCentre Delbrook.

The recreation centre is affering
half-day camps for kids that allow
them to) mix and match different
activities in the morning and
afternoon.

Daily drop-ins are welcome to
the Super “DeFux half-day camps
which run in the mornings from
8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and J p.m.
to 5 p.m. Participants are kept
busy with cooking. sports, aris and
crafts, community trips, games,
special events and more.

The fee for these camps is
$32.50/week or $8/day.

Six to 12 year olds will enjoy
tennis lessons followed by a swim
during two weekly camps offered

Aug. 8 Wand Aug. 22-25 from 9
a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The fee per week
is $37.

Sports Fever, featuring a variety
of sports for six to 12 year olds,
runs Aug. 8-18 and Aug. 22-Sept.
ft from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fee
per session is $48.

A dance camp is offered to six
to nine year olds from Aug. 22-25,
9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and to 10 to 13
year olds the same week from 1-5
p.m. A swim follows, Fee is $30/
session. ,

A racquetball camp runs the
week of Aug. 22-25 for nine to 12
year olds and includes a swim at
RecCentre Griffin. The 10 a.m. to
1 p.m. camp costs $25.
