A POLL by Toronto's Ryerson
Polytechnical Institute reveals
up to 4% of seniors are victims
of abuse, often in the form of
financial exploitation.

In response to the trend, the
Royal Bank will host two local
seminars titled “Seniors and
Financial Abuse.”

The bank said participants will

“MONS GATE BRIDGE SIDEWALK REPAIRS
JUNE 11 - JUNE 30

The Ministry of Transportation and Highways advises that there will be single lane
traffic in each direction on the Lions Gate Bridge from June 11 to June 30. Cyclists
and pedestrians are advised that one sidewalk will remain closed 24 hours per day
during this period. The single lane traffic and sidewalk closures are necessary for the
replacement of sidewalk panels and will be in effect as foliows:

public & stakeholder consultation process. If you are
interested in providing your input/support/concerns about §
the proposed smoke-free indoor air by-law, you are asked to §
participate in an upcoming consultation session in your area. |

The consultation sessions will take place in each of the six
Health Regions (North Shore, Burnaby, Vancouver,
Richmond, South Fraser and Simon Fraser) during the. {
