were married on Aug. 20 at 12:30 p.m. at Our
Lady of Sorrows Parish in Vancouver.

In attendance were the bride’s parents, Don
and Anna, and the groom's parents, Louise and
George, along with friends and family.

lunch and dancing
under the grape vines,
the couple departed on
their Oregon haney-
moon.

What better place for two born-and-bred North
Shore natives to celebrate their wedding than
on the North Shore?

Christine and Wayne Gooch were married
on a hot July 23 at the Lynn Valley Full Gospel
Church, followed by an afternoon reception in
the church's community hall.

The newlyweds then enjoyed a romantic din-
ner at Peppi's in West Vancouver, before retir-
ing to the Park Royal Hotel for their honey-
moon night.

The couple say they are extremely proud to

their special day took place here.
