CROLL - Alan Scott, suddenty at home
in West Vancouver, 31 March 1994,
aged 78. He was loved, cherished and
tespected, and shared his wise ways,
warm smile and twinkling eyes with all
those whose lives he touched, He will be
deeply missed by his family and friends.
He- is survived by his second wife
Elspeth, two stepchildren, Roslun
(Trevor) and Mark (Connie); his first wile
Margaret and their four children, Allison
(David), Pamela (Bernd), Jeremy (Karen)
and Andrew (Judith); four grandchildren;
and nine nieces and nephews. Alan was
born in Vancouver of Scottish parents,
lived most of his 78 years in West Van-
covver and taught in West Vancouver for
40 years. His setirement activities in-
cluded an avid interest in gardening and-
participation in the Point Grey iCheysar
themum Society and in the Seniors Well
Awareness Program; goffing with his
“partners;” community —pasticipation
and fundraising; and his lifelong love of
literature and music. By request, crema-
tion, followed by a private family memo-
tial service.

DARHEY - Mabel L, passed away April
4; 1994, age 84 years. Fredeceased by
her husband Jack. Strvived by son Mike;
daughters Eileen (Bob), Grace (Meinar-
do), Helen (Jack) and Heather, adested
daughter Desi; 18 grandchildsen and

KING ~ Harold "Kewpie,” born in North

Vancouves on April 21, 1913, passed
~ away in North Vancouver on March 30,

1994, after a long ilfness. Survived by
his loving wite Edie of 51 years; 2
daughters Arlene King, Pat and her hus-
band Mursay Williams. Cherished grand-
father of Greg, Carey and Debi. He is
also survived by his sister Dora, 2
brothers Les and Art, and inany nieces
and nephews. A memorial service will be

ed away peacefully in her sleep. Marg
was born on December 8, 1914 and
raised in Vetnon, B.C, Matg was pre-
deceased by her patents Will and Leona
Spice (Gibson), her brother Bob and her
husband of 53 years, Jack, She gradu-
ated from Royat lunibian Hospita) as a

that she dearly loved. tn various cities in
B.C., Marg: was an active member of
ODE. Sie was born with 2 zest for life
and that spirit remained with her
throughout her life. She loved her family
and friends and she touched many peo-
ples lives. Marg is survived by her son
Rick and his children Leslie Aan and
Monica, and by her daughter Diane, her
husband Murray and their children
Joanna and Julie. We love, honour and
tespect you, fom. You taught us so
many important things and we will miss
you, but like Dad, you will always be in
our hearts and minds. You are together
again watching over a:! of us. There will
be a service celebrating Marg's life on
Friday, April 8, 1994 at 11 a.m, at
Hollyburn Funeial Home, 1807 Marine
Drive, West Vancouver, conducted dy
